摘要: 利用天气雷达遥测降雨强度和区域降雨量的大小一直是人们努力探索的课题。随着计算机技术的高速发展,利用天气雷达定量遥测降雨强度和区域降雨量已成为可能。本文叙述了如何利用中科院兰州高原大气所平凉白庙雷达站的双线偏振天气雷达,遥测巴家咀水库流域降雨强度及区域降雨量,并把所得数据通过无线方式传输到西峰市地区水利处防汛办公室,然后在计算机监视器上重显出来,供防汛指挥作为参考。文中叙述了该系统的组成、功能及其应用潜力。

Abstract: Remote measurements of rainfall intensity and areal precipitation by using weather radar are a problem that meteorological scientists have researched with an effort.With the rapid developing of computer,it is possible that by using weather radar to measure rainfall intensity and areal precipitation in higher accuracy.We have used a dual linear polarization radar which was located in Baimiao radar station of Pingliang to measure rainfall in Bajiazui reservoir area and the data measured are transmitted to the Flood Prevention Office in Xifeng city by radio,then they are displaied repeatedly on color screen of computer in the Flood Prevention Office.In this paper,we introduce the potential and function of the system.
