Abstract

The formula to calculate the water vapour mean transfer in atmosphere can be written as:??? in which g is the acceleration of gravity, q is the mean specific humidity, P0 and P100 are the atmospheric pressure on the earth's surface and the isobaric surface of 100mb respectively, V is the mean velocity of wind in the given place at a given time. If u is the wind velocity in latitudinal direction, V is the wind velocity in longitudinal direction, the latitudinal transfer of vapour in atmosphere is ??? and the longitudinal transfer of vapour in atmosphere is ??? In this paper, utilizing the mean data of more than 100 stations of 10 years in China(1961-1970), we calculated the following quantities:1.The water vapour transfer of the every month and the whole year at the altitudes of 850 mb, 700 mb, 500 mb over China. 2. The latitudinal transfer of water vapour of every month and the whole year. 3. The longitudinal transfer of water vapour of every month and thewhole year. 4. The total value and the direction of transfer of water vapour in the whole layer of every month and the whole year.
