摘要

本文论述了有关南北半球间季风的形成和作用问题。我们认为东半球的南北半部之间产生的季风现象,在大气环流中有着重要的作用。在东半球的赤道区内产生的冬夏季节方向相反的跨赤道气流、季风槽季节位移和经圈环流季节变化都是最明显的。这不仅是太阳高度的季节变化所形成,海陆分布的差异也起了重要的作用。西半球南北半部间无此现象,季风也就不明显。南北半球间各种物理量的经向输送,季风区占了绝大部分,所以,南北半球季风是两个半球间大气相互作用、调整和平衡的一个重要机制。

Abstract

In this paper the formation and the role of the inter-hemispheres' monsoon has been discussed.It is pointed out that the monsoon phenomenon of inter-hemisphere over eastern hemisphere play an important role in the global general circulation of atmosphere.The cross equator flow in troposphere over equator region are nearly opposite in winter and summer in eastern hemisphere. The seasonal variation of monsoon trough and mean meridional circulations are also very marked. The formation of the inter hemisphere monaoon are not only caused by seasonal variation of sun's altitude but also caused by the difference of land sea distribution. However, the inter-hemisphere monsoon of western hemisphere is not obvious or even not able to be feeled. The most part of the cross equator trans-fer of various physical quantities of inter-hemisphere are carried out by the meridional wind over the monsoon region. It is clear that the inter-hemispheres' monsoon is an important mechanism of the interaction, balance and modulation between northern and southern hemisphere atmosphere.
